Training & Support For Women In Kent

Starting a Business on the internet is ideal for women who have the skills and expertise necessary to run a successful business, but who want the flexibility of hours and location, that a web based business offers.

Our course “E-Quality for Women Entrepreneurs” – Setting up a Business on the Internet” has been designed to help women in Kent (from 24 – 60) to start their own business on the Net. Our team of trainers & advisers cover a range of specialisms from start-up advice to web design, internet marketing and presentation skills. Unlike most other start-up courses, we offer practical “hands-on support” in a IT training suite. We don’t use jargon and we help you develop the confidence and skills that will enable you to plan, design and maintain your business website.

All the women who started each course have stayed and have rated the course highly. In addition, they have enjoyed the opportunity to network with each other, build ongoing support groups, and develop an NVQ level 3 (management level) in Business Start-up. See Business Profiles for details of the businesses started to date.

The programme was delivered by The Greenwich Enterprise Board, run in partnership with Business Link Kent and funded by the Learning & Skills Council, Kent & Medway.
